So I was able to run session 1 of my new Diaspora game in Fari with 2 players that never saw the app before. Things went well after getting people familiar with the tool.

There was one comment I think is worth mentioning here:

* A complaint that the 'draw' tool requires you to mouse over the icons to know which symbol represents which player.

I wonder if having a 'legend' off to the side of the draw area would help. It would have the icon symbol and a text field to enter icon name. The player icons auto-assign (like is done now) and NPCs get a blank field to manually name. So, the symbol with 3 dots would be player 1 "Commander Awesome" and the box with a vertical line through it could be "Sargent Evil Guy".
